Iron Man is a playable character in Marvel: World at War. He was confirmed in a gameplay video alongside Thor. He is a Power User. He is voiced by Crispin Freeman.

GameplayEdit

Move ListEdit

  • Repulsor Blast (Iron Man blasts a laser at his opponent)
  • Uni Beam (Iron Man blasts a laser from his chest)
  • Fly (Iron Man uses his rocket boots to fly)
  • Target Systems (Iron Man targets his opponent and a rocket blasts onto them)
  • Laser Blast (Iron Man blasts three red laser beams at his opponent)
  • Machine Gun (A mini machine gun pops up on Iron Man's shoulder and shoots the opponent)
  • Iron Body Slam (Iron Man grabs his opponent, flies up, and drops down, landing on them)
  • Hulkbuster (Iron Man's fist is made huge as he pounds the ground, sending a vibration wave across the stage)

Super MoveEdit

House Part Protocol: Iron Man punches his opponent, calls Jarvis, and several Iron Man armors fly into the arena and attack the opponent.

Character TraitEdit

Iron Man switches from his regular costume to an energized version of his armor that inflicts more damage.

Intro/OutroEdit

  • Intro: Tony Stark is in his mansion, as each piece of his suit comes flying onto him, and when he is situated, he flies into the arena.
  • Outro: Iron Man laughs at his opponent before flying off. He is then seen at a restaurant with Pepper Potts. He is still wearing his armor and he is eating a donut.

Character EndingEdit

"After the adventure through time, Iron Man had discovered a wormhole, that he had assumed led to Asgard. In actuality, it took Iron Man to Nidavellir, the realm of the dwarves. He befriended the Dwarf King and welded himself a new armor made out of Uru, and he also crafted new magical weapons for the Avengers. When he returned to Midgard, the Avengers had become even more powerful than they had ever been before."

TriviaEdit

  • Iron Man is one of the main characters in the story.
  • Iron Man is the only character from the original dimension to die in the story, but he is resurrected by Kang.
  • Crispin Freeman has previously portrayed Iron Man in Ultimate Alliance 2.

Alternate CostumesEdit

  • Alternate Earth: Iron Man's costume from the alternate reality is unlocked by using an archive armory key.
  • Iron Man 3: The Mark 42 armor can be unlocked by completing all of his S.H.I.E.L.D. Missions
  • Avengers: Iron Man's costume from the Avengers can be unlocked by playing as each member of the Avengers 20 times.
  • Ultimate: Iron Man's ultimate costume is part of the "Ultimate" pre-order bonus.
  • Marvel NOW!: Iron Man's Marvel NOW! costume is part of the Collector's and Battle Edition.
