Injustice: The Second Regime is yet another action fighting video game and sequel to Injustice Gods Among Us. It is developed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The Second Regime is set 12 years after it's predecessor and it was released for Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, XBOX One, and Playstation 4, It is set for release on July 2nd 2014.
Superman is still in prison and Batman is staring to slow down because of age, Batman appoints Nightwing to become his successor while he retires. When Amanda Waller and Deathstroke break Superman out he starts a Second Regime, Dick now going on as Batman must call back the Justice League members and find some new ones before going up against the New Regime.
The gameplay for Injustice: The Second Regime is different to it's predecessor. The Second Regime has a 3D format just like DC Universe Online and Injustice: The First Insurgent. In The Second Regime the character you play as will be given a mission by Batman (unless your Batman when Alfred will guide you). It is a Open World where missions will take your to real life places such as Paris, France and places from the comics such as Central City. During the open world, the player can save innocent civilians from the Regime. This however will effect your status as to wether or not the public can trust the new Insurgency. If your status high then civilians will begin to help the new Insurgency by telling them secrets such as “A new weapons crate has just be delivered by the docks for the Regime”. For the first time ever, Heroes can change their outfits to help them in missions (example: Batman can take a Wetsuit if going to fight The Penguin or a Heat Suit if fighting Mr. Freeze). Some characters will have the ability to change into civilian clothes if necessary.

Injustice: The Second Regime features a set of characters and voice actors, some reprising their roles from TV series such as Young Justice and Batman The Animated Series and some from hit games such as the Arkham series.
