Injustice: Regime of Arkham is another action fighting video game based entirely on Batman and the DC Comics Universe. The game was confirmed as an alternate to Injustice Gods Among Us 2, replacing it as if it was the direct sequel to the first Injustice game. It is developed by WhataToonProductions and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the prequel to Injustice: Gods Among Us, and it was released for XBOX 360, Playstation 3, Wii U, XBOX One, and PS4 It's franchise prequel is Injustice: The First Insurgent, which was released in early 2013.
Taking place a year after Injustice: Gods Among Us, it features Batman from Earth-1 in a country full of chaos as Lex Luthor is appointed president. With the Regime and Insurgency conspirancy running through Arkham Asylum, some inmates have decided to join Batman and fight against those who prey on the fearful, and some have continued to decide that control is by fear. War soon breaks out and it's up to Batman to stop it.
