Captain America is a playable character in Avengers: Heroes Disassembled. Captain America was one of the first 6 characters revealed alongside Spider-Man, Storm, Electro, Mystique, and the Thing. He is a Gadget User. He is voiced by Brian Bloom.

Gameplay[]

Super Move[]

Captain America slams his shield across the opponent's face. He continues to punch them repeatedly before throwing his shield behind him and doing a back flip, kicking his opponent in the chin. As they are airborne, Cap grabs them and slams them into the ground. He then holds them up as his shield comes back and hits them right in the chest.

Character Trait[]

The Super Soldier Serum turns Captain America faster and his attacks do more damage.

Intro/Outro[]

Intro: Captain America is piloting a jet. A missile crashes through one of the wings, so he kicks the glass, causing it to shatter. He stands up and jumps out of the jet. He then lands in the arena, doing a summer-salt and he pulls out his shield.
Outro: Cap says "You didn't stand a chance." before holding his shield in the air in a heroic fashion.

Character Ending[]

"After breaking free from Iron Man's mental control, Captain America assisted the heroes from the alternate dimension in the New Order's downfall. After Iron Man was taken to prison, Captain America formed a new Avengers team to lead the world back into an age of peace. Becoming a new symbol of hope, Captain America was elected President of the United States."

Trivia[]

In order to give Captain America a wider moveset, his powers were slightly exaggerated, which game him the abilities of advanced speed and advanced fighting skills and intelligence.
In the story mode, the alternate Captain America never switched sides to join the Secret Avengers, but in his character ending he did join them and he defeated Iron Man
Brian Bloom previously portrayed Captain America in the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes television series.
